Junjing Fan
Occupational Therapist

Junjing has worked extensively with children and adolescents with developmental delays, ASD and ADHD, helping to promote their developmental skills, school readiness, and social integration. She adopts a family-centred and goal-directed approach to assist with children’s gross- and fine-motor skills, sensory modulation difficulties, (visual-)motor development, as well as self-care and independence skills.
Community outreach is also especially important to Junjing, and she tries to make a difference by raising social awareness and educating the local community about the challenges children face when they have additional needs. She believes in the importance of empowering parents in understanding the individual differences of their child as well as their own. She has conducted workshops for teachers, parents, and the general public on topics such as sensory processing, emotional regulation, and therapeutic play.
Junjing thrives on helping children reach their potential, and ensuring engagement and enjoyment of the therapeutic process.

Junjing is fluent in Mandarin, English, and Shanghainese.

Janice Gu
Speech Pathologist

Janice completed her Master of Speech Pathology at the University of Melbourne. She has experience working with people of different ages to meet their communication goals.
She is able to provide sessions for paediatric clients in Mandarin and English.
Janice also enjoys creating new games for telehealth to make sessions fun and engaging.

Janice speaks English, Mandarin, and conversational Japanese.

Josephine Sham

Josephine achieved her music therapy qualification at the University of Melbourne in 2016. Josephine is passionate about supporting special needs children with music. Her music therapy clinical experiences are primarily in special education, child disability and early childhood intervention. She has also worked in adult disability and aged care settings.
Josephine sings and plays the piano, guitar and ukulele. And she is a harp beginner.
Josephine is also a proud mum of a 1-year-old daughter!

Josephine speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Kelly Pearce
Speech Pathologist (Feeding & Mealtime Support)

Kelly has extensive experience working in early intervention with children with multiple diagnoses including global developmental delay and autism spectrum disorder and a range of communication, behavioural, sensory and learning challenges.
​
Kelly is trained in Sensory Oral Sequential (SOS) Approach to Feeding and has worked with children and their families to successfully develop and maintain skills in feeding and mealtime management.
​
Kelly is experienced in running early play skills programmes with parents and children, and regularly attends special interest groups to continue her professional development.
​
She adopts a family-centred, strength-based, and functional approach to working with children and their family, and is passionate about assisting the child and family to achieve positive outcomes for their everyday living.

Denise Leyden

Denise has over ten years of experience as a Dietitian, working with kids and the elderly, and clients with disabilities. She enjoys supporting her clients to reach their goals and to achieve good nutrition.
Her specialty areas are paediatrics, enteral nutrition and bowel issues including food intolerances.
​
Denise is great at sewing and makes nearly all of her own clothes!

Elysia Low
Principal Dietitian

Elysia has worked in various settings as a Dietitian for nine years, including major tertiary hospitals, private practice, food service nutrition, aged care facilities, and in the rural community. She works with clients and patients of all ages, from infants to centenarians, with the sole aim to improve nutritional status and encourage good nutrition practices.
​
Elysia is multilingual, including English and Mandarin. She is an avid reader and enjoys cooking and baking.

Alessia Nigro

Alessia has clinical experience in working both face-to-face and over telehealth with a range of clients from various culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
She has experience working with school-aged children with a range of disabilities including ASD, ADHD and children with hearing impairments.
She is most excited about working with preschool and school aged children in the area of speech, language, literacy and fluency.
Alessia also has a keen interest in oral facial myology and the impact this can have on children’s speech sounds. Alessia is passionate about working collaboratively to address her client’s needs holistically.

Jun Lim
Psychologist

​
Jun supports children and their families in a variety of settings in both public and the private sector. She provides assessments for children and adolescents at Therapy Lab.
Jun is passionate about collaborating with parents and support systems surrounding the child in order to maximise the child's potential and achieve the best outcomes. She has experience working with children with anxiety, behavioural difficulties, developmental delays, and has a wealth of experience providing support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

​Jun has a strong interest in supporting children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Global Developmental Delay, anxiety, stress, emotion regulation difficulties, parenting support, and capacity building. ​
Jun is multilingual and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Fiona Low

Fiona is an experienced Speech Pathologist who loves working with individuals to help them improve across all areas of communication. She has worked extensively with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) from pre-school age through to adolescence. She has a special interest in the areas of bilingualism as well as autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
​
Fiona is bilingual, fluent in both English and Mandarin.
