Junjing has worked extensively with children and adolescents with developmental delays, ASD and ADHD, helping to promote their developmental skills, school readiness, and social integration. She adopts a family-centred and goal-directed approach to assist with children’s gross- and fine-motor skills, sensory modulation difficulties, (visual-)motor development, as well as self-care and independence skills.
Community outreach is also especially important to Junjing, and she tries to make a difference by raising social awareness and educating the local community about the challenges children face when they have additional needs. She believes in the importance of empowering parents in understanding the individual differences of their child as well as their own. She has conducted workshops for teachers, parents, and the general public on topics such as sensory processing, emotional regulation, and therapeutic play.
Junjing thrives on helping children reach their potential, and ensuring engagement and enjoyment of the therapeutic process.
